Two photos taken months apart, one figurine

She had a photo of herself outside a green door, and a photo of her cat sitting in a window. Never one of the two of them together — the cat had other plans every time. So the figurine is where they finally met.

About the hardest photo there is to sculpt from. A black dog reads as a silhouette in most light, and Cacau had his back half turned. The red harness gave us the scale and the shape of him; the ears did the rest.

Two kittens who would never sit still together

Teresa sent one photo of each, both taken over an open laptop, because that is where kittens are. On the finished piece they're sitting side by side on one base, which is more than they ever managed for a camera.
